Antarctic Research Not Requiring U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) Field Support

This grant funds cutting-edge research that improves understanding of Antarctic and Southern Ocean interactions with global Earth systems, advances fundamental knowledge of biological, geochemical and physical processes, and builds polar science capacity. It supports interdisciplinary projects, use of existing data or samples, and work that does not require U.S. Antarctic Program logistical support.
