Terms
GrantYard is an index of funding opportunities published by governments, foundations and programmes we have no relationship with. These terms cover using the site and, if you subscribe, paying for Pro.
What GrantYard is, and is not
We collect funding opportunities from official sources, resolve each one to the issuer’s own page, and rewrite the criteria into something you can answer yes or no to.
We do not run, fund, administer or represent any opportunity listed here. We cannot influence a decision, extend a deadline or tell you whether you will win. Applications go to the issuer, on the issuer’s own page.
The issuer’s page is always the authority. Where this index and the official page disagree, the official page is right and we are wrong — tell us and we will fix it.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every row is re-checked on a schedule and corrections are made quickly once reported. Even so, programmes change their terms, move their deadlines and close early without notice.
Check the official page before you rely on anything here, particularly a deadline or an eligibility rule. We cannot be responsible for an opportunity missed, an application refused, or money not received.
The index is provided as it is, without warranty.
Your account
You need an account to save opportunities, set deadline alerts and read opportunities in full beyond the free allowance. Sign-in is by emailed link.
The account is yours. Keep access to your email address, because anyone who has that can sign in as you.
Do not scrape the index in bulk, resell it, or use it to build a competing index. Reading it, saving what is useful to you and applying to what fits is exactly what it is for.
We can suspend an account that is abusing the service. We will tell you why.
Pro
Pro is $19 a month or $149 a year, charged through Stripe. The annual price is not twelve monthly ones — it is the cheaper commitment, and that difference is the offer.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your dashboard; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate a partial period.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries for several days and you keep Pro while it does. If it never succeeds, the account returns to free — nothing you saved is deleted.
Prices can change. An existing subscription keeps the price it was taken out at until you change plan.
Refunds
If Pro is not what you expected, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it.
Where consumer law in your country gives you a stronger right than this paragraph, that law wins.
What belongs to whom
The opportunities themselves belong to the bodies that publish them, and facts about them — amounts, deadlines, criteria — are not ours to own.
The index as a compiled work, the site, its design and its writing are ours.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost funding, arising from your use of the index.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced here with a new date at the top, and continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of them.
