Archaeometry (AMTRY)

This grant funds projects that develop or refine archaeometric techniques, such as methods for identifying organic residues on ceramics or field-applicable analytic tools, and supports service laboratories offering dating, trace-element, isotopic, dendrochronological analyses, as well as data archives that strengthen archaeological infrastructure. It is administered by the NSF Archaeology Program.
