Assay development and screening for discovery of chemical probes, drugs or immunomodulators (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This grant supports discovery research to identify small-molecule chemical probes, agonists or antagonists for disease targets. It funds assay development, high-throughput or moderate-throughput screening, hit validation, and hit-to-lead optimization, including secondary assays, cheminformatics, medicinal chemistry, and early ADME/PK/PD studies.
