Biological Oceanography (BioOce)

This grant supports fundamental research in biological oceanography and marine ecology across estuarine, coastal, open-ocean, deep-sea, and Great Lakes environments. It funds projects that address population, community, or ecosystem ecology or oceanography and that significantly advance understanding of marine or Great Lakes ecosystems. The program encourages interdisciplinary work and may co-fund with related NSF programs.
