BJA FY 2026 John R. Justice (JRJ) Formula Grant Program

This grant provides loan repayment assistance to local and state prosecutors and public defenders at the local, state, and federal levels who agree to remain in their positions for at least three more years. Beneficiaries receive partial repayment of their loans directly to their loan service provider in exchange for the service commitment.
