BJA FY 2026 The Kevin and Avonte Program: Reducing Injury and Death of Missing Individuals with Dementia and Developmental Disabilities

This grant supports public safety efforts to reduce deaths and injuries of individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities who wander from safe environments. It funds law enforcement, public safety and health care agencies, and partnering nonprofits to implement locative tracking technologies and to develop or operate programs that prevent wandering, increase safety, and facilitate rescues.
