BJA FY25 Forensic Ballistics and Higher Education Program

This grant supports public and state-controlled higher-education institutions partnering with local law enforcement and ATF to develop or expand curricula in forensic firearm ballistics and crime gun intelligence. It funds hands-on training for students to become proficient in firearms evidence processing, ballistic analysis using NIBIN, CGI generation, and related investigative methods.
