This program funds projects that develop full-scale biorefineries and related value chains using biotechnology to produce sustainable bio-based products. It supports work that improves sustainability, circularity and resource efficiency, and enhances the EU’s strategic autonomy, resilience and competitiveness in the bioeconomy.
