This program funds projects that improve critical marine or freshwater habitats and species through conservation and restoration, and that increase the sustainability of fishing practices and tools. It also supports socio-economic benefits for local communities, skill development, job creation, and enhanced co-management governance and cross-border fish movement data coordination.
