Career Transition Award for NINDS Intramural Clinician-Scientists (K22 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This grant supports outstanding basic or clinical investigators in a two-phase program, beginning with an intramural NIH appointment and ending with support at an extramural institution. It is designed to help NINDS intramural neurologist- and neurosurgeon-scientists transition to independent academic faculty roles that combine funded research with clinical work.
