Combustion and Fire Systems (CFS)

This grant supports fundamental research to create new knowledge for safe, clean, and efficient combustion and fire mitigation. It funds experimental, theoretical, and computational work that develops predictive tools, improves combustion devices, reduces pollutants, and advances understanding of fire growth, inhibition, and suppression.
