Communications, Circuits, and Sensing-Systems (CCSS)

This grant supports innovative research on circuit and system hardware, signal processing, and system/network architectures for communications and sensing that enable next-generation cyber-physical systems. It funds work on MEMS/NEMS, physical, chemical and biological sensing, neurotechnologies, and communication and sensing circuits, targeting applications such as healthcare, environmental monitoring, security, transportation, manufacturing, energy and smart buildings.
