Computational Mathematics

This grant supports mathematical research where computation is central, focusing on analysis, development, and implementation of theoretically justified, efficient algorithms. It funds projects that create and analyze new computational mathematics techniques, implement them to model and solve important application problems, and provide rigorous training for junior computational mathematicians. It also accepts proposals for conferences or workshops related to these goals.
