Cooperative Agreement for affiliated Partner with Rocky Mountain Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit
This grant funds a CESU partner to develop scientific tools for collaborative research on ecological and population risks in western rangelands and alpine ecosystems. It supports studies of animal-habitat relationships, resource selection, and population demography of birds and ungulates, including responses to land-use changes and disease spread. It also requires long-term alpine research on species such as white-tailed ptarmigan.
