Cooperative Agreement to Support Shellfish Safety Assistance Project

This grant supports improving information exchange and cooperation among states, federal and foreign agencies, industry, and consumers regarding shellfish safety. It funds training, technical assistance, research, education, and participation in meetings to help states develop scientifically defensible food safety controls that reduce illness risk from molluscan shellfish.
