Develop breakthrough and sustainable bio-based textile fibres

This program funds projects that develop bio-based textile fibres and scalable production processes, aiming for wider market availability, enhanced circularity and reduced microplastic release. It supports work on novel natural or man-made fibres, including improvements in retting, degumming, spinning, modification and treatment, to meet EU bioeconomy and sustainability strategies.
