This program funds activities that develop cell-free protein synthesis platforms to streamline development and production of peptide- or protein-based biologicals, aiming to improve access, availability and affordability of such pharmaceuticals. It supports work that enhances decentralized production systems for innovative health technologies involving peptides or proteins.
