Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences Core Programs (MCB)

This grant supports research that seeks fundamental, quantitative, and predictive understanding of living systems from atomic to cellular scales. It funds projects that advance mechanistic insight into biomolecular structure, genetic information processing, and cellular organization, especially those integrating concepts from chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics and using diverse model organisms.
