Emerging Global Leader Award (K43 Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This grant supports early-career scientists from low- or middle-income countries who hold junior faculty positions, providing protected time for career development and a research project aligned with their country’s health priorities, under LMIC and U.S. mentorship. It funds research that does not involve leading an independent clinical trial, feasibility study, or ancillary trial.
