This grant supports ambitious, foundational research agendas that aim to define the future of computing and information science and engineering. It funds collaborative projects that pursue transformative, high-risk, high-reward work such as new architectures for intelligence, learning theories, neuroscience-inspired approaches, embodied intelligence, and next-generation communication and networking.
