This program funds projects that develop bio-based films and coatings for packaging, aiming to improve barrier performance, technical properties, circularity and printability compared with fossil-based or existing bio-based benchmarks. It supports research addressing scalability, adhesion, durability and end-of-life sustainability of such materials.
