Fiscal Year 2026 Flood Mitigation Assistance

This grant provides federal funds to states, U.S. territories, federally recognized tribal governments, and local governments to reduce or eliminate repetitive flood damage to buildings and structures insured by the National Flood Insurance Program. It funds a variety of flood mitigation activities that lower flood risk to policyholders and reduce the NFIP’s financial exposure.
