FY26 Bureau of Land Management Abandoned Mine Lands and Hazardous Materials - Bureau wide

This grant supports inventory and mitigation of abandoned mine hazards on BLM lands to protect public health, safety, and the environment. It funds projects that address physical safety risks, contamination, watershed restoration, air quality, and the return of lands to productive uses such as recreation, wildlife habitat, and cultural resource preservation.
