HEAL Initiative: Non-addictive Analgesic Therapeutics Development [Small Molecules and Biologics] to Treat Pain (UG3/UH3 Clinical Trial Optional)

This grant supports preclinical optimization and development of safe, effective, non-addictive small-molecule or biologic pain therapeutics, including lead optimization, early-stage development, IND-enabling studies, biomarker development, IND submission, and Phase I testing. It is for applicants with a promising lead candidate, strong biological rationale, and established assays.
