This program funds projects that scale wafer-level photonic processes for key materials, develop scalable packaging and test solutions, and integrate heterogeneous components such as on-chip lasers, modulators, and detectors. It also supports design-process-equipment co-optimisation and system-level demonstrations in strategic sectors like AI, sensing, telecommunications, mobility, health, and defence.
