Improving circularity of multilayer flexible plastic food contact packaging

This program funds research and development to improve the recyclability of multilayer flexible plastic food-contact packaging, aiming to enhance design for recycling, sorting and industrial-scale recycling processes, and to inform consumers on proper disposal. It targets solutions that increase the yield of safe, food-contact-compliant recycled plastic from post-consumer films.
