This program funds projects that develop next-generation lithium-based batteries for mobility, scaling prototypes (TRL 4-5) to demonstrable, scalable production and integration into modules or packs. It supports work on performance targets, manufacturing equipment, automation, and battery interfaces to boost EU competitiveness and strengthen the battery value chain.
