This program funds a strategic European initiative to develop scalable, modular, and interoperable photonic quantum computing platforms. It supports work that tackles major technical roadblocks such as deterministic high-efficiency photonic entanglement, loss-tolerant architectures, and a standardized integrated control stack combining hardware, firmware, and system software.
