Manufacturing Systems Integration (MSI)

This grant supports fundamental research on how digital technologies can integrate design and manufacturing across the product life cycle. It funds work on generalizable advances such as digital representations, intelligent self-organizing production, interoperable and secure communication, and service-oriented architectures for manufacturing systems.
