Multi-hazard approach and cumulative / cascading impacts

This program funds research that integrates single-hazard systems into multi-hazard predictive models to assess cascading effects and improve forecasting, response, and risk metrics. It supports development of interoperable platforms, shared data, and holistic resilience strategies that consider physical, economic and social impacts, evolving vulnerability, and trans-national knowledge exchange.
