NIJ FY 2026 Research on Gender Dysphoria and Violent Crime

This grant funds foundational research on gender dysphoria, its treatment, and the perpetration of violence and violent behavior. It supports retrospective and secondary data analyses such as prevalence studies, post-conviction analyses, and investigations of relationships between violence, diagnosis, treatment, comorbidities, and contextual factors.
