NIJ FY 2026 Research on the Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation of Elderly Individuals

This grant funds research to improve knowledge of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. It supports projects on emerging-technology fraud detection, forensic research for investigations and prosecutions, program evaluations for prevention or response, and studies to develop education and intervention programs addressing financial fraud against older adults.
