Ocean Drilling Program

This grant supports the International Ocean Discovery Program, funding marine geoscience research using a non-riser vessel for high-resolution cores, a heavy riser-equipped vessel for deep sedimentary and crustal drilling, and mission-specific platforms for high-latitude and shallow-water projects. It enables work that addresses climate, environmental, crustal and observatory science objectives.
