This grant supports state, local, Tribal and territorial prosecuting agencies to assign or hire qualified prosecutors as Special Attorneys or Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys. The cross-designated prosecutors remain with their home agencies while investigating and prosecuting fraud, other crimes by criminal aliens, and potentially drug or human trafficking cases.
