OJP FY 2026 Special Attorneys Program Round 9

This grant supports state, local, Tribal and territorial prosecuting agencies to assign or hire qualified prosecutors as Special Attorneys or Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys, and to hire criminal investigators, analysts, forensic accountants and similar staff. The funded personnel remain with their home agencies and work on fraud, other crimes by criminal aliens, and may also handle drug or human trafficking cases.
