Open topic on preventing and countering the misuse of emerging technologies for criminal purposes, including issues related to lawful access to data

This Horizon Europe program funds projects that develop modern tools, methodologies and training curricula for European police to prevent, detect and investigate criminal misuse of emerging technologies while ensuring lawful data access and privacy. It also supports interdisciplinary partnerships among technologists, policymakers and police to create guidelines and frameworks for secure, rights-respecting data use.
