Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) for Health Professional Schools and Graduate Schools (R15 Clinical Trial Required)

This grant supports small-scale biomedical research projects at health professional, undergraduate or graduate schools that receive limited NIH funding, focusing on providing research experiences for students and improving the institution’s research environment. It funds investigator-initiated mechanistic studies and minimal-risk clinical trials that do not require FDA oversight or aim to establish efficacy.
