Staff Support to Tribal Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee for Engagement with the United States (U.S.) Department of Energy on Radioactive Materials Transportation Planning

This grant funds staff support to help the Tribal Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee engage with the U.S. Department of Energy on planning for future large-scale transportation of commercial used nuclear fuel, high-level radioactive waste and other radioactive wastes. It facilitates coordination between DOE and federally-recognized Tribal governments on related program issues affecting Tribal areas.
