Understanding the forms of local democracy in low-income and low-middle income countries

This program funds projects that develop science-based tools, toolkits, training models, monitoring frameworks and recommendations to help EU institutions and national decision-makers promote inequality reduction, human rights and democracy in low-income and low-middle-income countries. It also supports work that improves understanding of local actors, decentralisation, public-service delivery and evidence-based practices for fragile contexts.
