Utilizing Invasive Recording and Stimulating Opportunities in Humans to Advance Neural Circuitry Understanding of Mental Health Disorders (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)

This grant supports invasive neural recording studies that investigate mental-health-relevant questions about brain circuitry, dynamics, moods, emotions, cognition and behavior. It funds research using invasive recordings and stimulation to test causal network mechanisms, but does not cover development of new technologies or therapies.
