Water, Landscape, and Critical Zone Processes (WaLCZ)

This grant supports research on the Earth’s near-surface environment, focusing on how hydrologic, geomorphic, and geochemical processes interact and respond to change. It funds work that advances fundamental knowledge of weathering, soil development, water availability and quality, and climate regulation, aiming for transformational discoveries in Earth Sciences.
