A stronger Global Ocean Observing System to enhance Europe’s strategic autonomy, climate resilience and biodiversity conservation
This program funds projects that strengthen and coordinate global ocean observing capacities, especially by deploying equipment for marine biodiversity and ecosystem data. It supports public authorities in prioritising infrastructure, capacity building, and data services to protect ocean health, and encourages collaboration among research, SMEs, technology providers, and maritime industries to advance innovative observing technologies.
